Physician – Emergency Medicine at G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VAMC (Jackson, MS)
TOPR Title: ED Physicians for G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VAMC
Annual Salary Range: $282,487.00 to $332,702.00.
Role: Emergency Department Physicians

• Work site: Department of Veterans Affairs G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1500 E Woodrow Wilson Ave, Jackson, MS 39216
• Period Of Performance: The period of performance will be a 12 months base from the date of award.

FTE is defined by the VA as a minimum of 80 hours every two weeks and does not include holidays.

B.3 PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS)
1. GENERAL:
Physicians board-certified in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine must have 2 years substantial recent (i.e. within the past 5 years) experience working in an Emergency Department (ED) setting and must be able to successfully address the standard spectrum of emergency medicine patient presentations expected in an ED setting.
1.2. Place of Performance: Contractor shall furnish services at the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 1500 East Woodrow Wilson Drive, Jackson, MS 39216.
2. QUALIFICATIONS:
2.1.1. License: The physician(s) to perform the services covered by this contract shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia when services are performed onsite on VA property.
All licenses held by the key personnel working on this contract shall be full and unrestricted licenses. Contractor’s physician(s) who have current, full and unrestricted licenses in one or more states, but who have, or ever had, a license restricted, suspended, revoked, voluntarily revoked, voluntarily surrendered pending action or denied upon application will not be considered for the purposes of this contract.
2.1.2. Board Certification: All physicians shall be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine. Physicians Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine must have significant recent experience working in an Emergency Department setting and be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)”
2.1.3.1 If a contractor’s physician(s) and/or other contract providers(s) are not credentialed and privileged or has credentials/privileges suspended or revoked, the Contractor shall furnish an acceptable substitute without any additional cost to the government.
