Operation Shoestring is seeking summer camp counselors, assistants, custodians, and office managers for our Jackson, MS camp taking place from June 1st to July 9th.
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, motivated and creative individual who has a passion for teaching and learning, bringing joy to children, and is comfortable interacting with the broader community. Many summer activities and field trips will take place outdoors and involve a moderate level of movement and activity of the camp counselor. Some light lifting (maximum 20 lbs.) will be required to load materials and supplies for field trips. Prior certified teaching or camp counselor experience is preferred, though not required.
