Role Overview:
As a Business Development Intern at Stattery, you will work closely with our business development and sales teams to help drive the company’s growth initiatives. You will assist in identifying potential business opportunities, supporting market research, and contributing to the development of strategies that support our sales and growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct research to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and industry competitors. Analyze data to provide insights that will guide the business development strategies.
- Lead Generation: Assist in identifying and reaching out to new business prospects, including cold-calling, emailing, and using other channels to qualify leads.
- Sales Support: Help draft proposals, presentations, and sales pitches to prospective clients. Collaborate with the sales team to follow up on leads and assist in converting them into customers.
- Client Relationship Management: Support the ongoing relationship-building efforts with clients and partners, ensuring communication is consistent and timely.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Maintain an organized CRM database, tracking all business development activities and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
- Administrative Support: Assist the business development team with various administrative tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in business development, sales, and startups.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a growth mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous internship or experience in sales, marketing, or business development is a plus.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media strategies.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
