Why Become a Career Ambassador
Career Service Ambassador Cohort
Career Service Ambassadors (CSAs) are Alcorn State University undergraduate students who help other students and alumni with career-related tasks. They lead the Career Closet as well as take individual appointments in the Career Services office. CSAs also represent the Career Services office on campus by promoting various career-related events, assisting with these events, and delivering classroom presentations. CSAs are an essential part of the Career Services team, helping over 2,500 students/alumni each semester.
The Career Ambassador Program plays a vital role in advancing the mission of Alcorn State University’s Career Center by empowering students on their journey toward professional success. As Career Ambassadors, these dedicated individuals leave a lasting impact across campus by guiding their peers, forging and nurturing valuable campus and external partnerships, and serving as inspiring role models in career development. Through their leadership, they encourage reflection, exploration, and proactive engagement, connecting students with the resources they need to thrive in their careers. The efforts of our Ambassadors significantly enhance the Career Center’s communication and engagement with the Alcorn State community, driving a culture of career readiness and excellence.
Do you want to make a difference in the lives of your peers, while also developing professional skills that will help you get an internship or a job? If so, become a career ambassador for Alcorn State University’s Career Services.
