Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Meet service delivery requirements as established by Supervisor.
- Alway maintains client confidentiality.
- Provide assessments, individual, group, and family therapy in compliance with DMH standards.
- Maintain case record documentation that is adequate, appropriate, complete, and timely.
- Work with a treatment team to collect necessary information for PA submission.
- Assist with the PA process as assigned.
- Attend and participate appropriately in clinical staffing.
- Respond to client’s needs in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Demonstrate appropriate interactions with coworkers that promote a pleasant work environment.
- Complete additional job duties assigned by supervisor.
- Provide clinical supervision for day treatment programs when assigned.
- Participate in interagency collaboration for the provision of client services when assigned.
Education and Qualification Requirements
Required
- Current Mississippi LCSW or LPC clinical license
- Master’s degree in behavioral science or related field.
- Completion of annual training in compliance with DMH standards.
- Working knowledge of the DSM.
Preferred
- Previous experience as a therapist in a mental health setting and/or working with an SMI/SED in a treatment setting.
- Previous experience with EPIC EHR software.
- Active certification for CPR/BLS and MANDT/CPI.
